2 generations of Lavelle meet 2 generations of Scania! Lavelle’s welcomes its latest edition to its fleet: the Scania P320 series 5 is the first of its kind in the north west of England. The investment has resulted in the first waste vehicle in Manchester with the latest generation Scania chassis cab fitted with a waste body. Continually showing Lavelle’s commitment to investing in the very best and latest technology available. This vehicle is the fifth Scania in an ever-growing fleet, bringing the company’s total to 8 vehicles within 2 years.
Lavelle’s has a long history of buying Scania’s from West Pennine trucks dating back to the 1980’s. With over 30 purchases, this is by far the most technology focused vehicle for both the driver and the customer. With on board weighing systems fitted by MOBA, the vehicle can weigh each bin lifted, this data can then be used to encourage recycling efforts.

The new vehicle boasts health and safety features such as, 360° surround cameras, lane departure warning, cyclist warning, automated banksman, ultra LED strobe lighting, auto breaking and many more.
The Scania P320 comes with the latest Euro 6 engine meeting the highest emission standards.
